Chicago, IL – November 17, 2010 - Centrax Corporation, a leader in innovative learning, won a coveted Brandon Hall Silver Award for Excellence in the Custom Content category. Centrax’s win was announced on Thursday, November 4. The winners are listed at www.brandon-hall.com. Centrax and partner, Navistar, collaborated over 8+ months to develop Diesel Diagnostics: Interactive 3D Objects for Decision Training. Diesel engine mechanics who work on Navistar engines needed to understand the proper procedure for diagnosing Hard-Start/No-Start Engine problems. With the vision from a Lead Instructional Designer alongside Navistar SME’s, 3D artists, flash designers, and audio talent, a series of diagnostic tests was developed to show mechanics how to properly diagnose engines that would not start or had trouble starting. The detailed diagnostic tests for the course covered a complicated flowchart of problems that might cause the engine not to start. The entire course was also translated into 2 additional languages after being delivered in English. Upon being cited for this 2010 award, Ed Prentice, President of Centrax remarked, “It’s always an honor for our team at Centrax to be able to work with great clients, interesting content, and help people to engage in continued learning. And the honor is extended when we are also recognized for the work we love to do and are awarded for our efforts.
