Freelance Instructional Designer

We are looking to add a freelance or temp/contract to hire instructional designer to support our rapidly growing client base. This is a fast-paced environment that requires self-starters who can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities include:

Meeting with clients to determine needs and gather content
Designing engaging, instructionally sound e-learning programs
Creating e-learning storyboards used as product specifications
Working with production team to ensure high-quality product delivery

The ideal candidate will have:

Degree in Educational Technology, Adult Learning, or related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of instructional design strategies, learning theories, assessment approaches, and visual design principles
Experience using a variety of software tools, such Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop
Ability to learn new concepts and new technology quickly
Ability to think creatively to solve problems
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Centrax employees often wear multiple hats, so experience with project management, audio or video production, or software development is a plus. A sense of humor and ability to cope with change are musts.
